How to massage your colon for relief with constipation, diarrhea, gas and bloating. Colonic massage is also helpful for baby colic and abdominal pain. Combine this video with my other vid: Constipation Pooping Positions at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3r3J3mIegI and that should really help you have a bowel movement. Lots more gas and bloating help here: http://www.listentoyourgut.com/symptoms/31/abdominal-pain-and-cramping.html And if you suffer from constipation, more help here (including free eBook): http://www.listentoyourgut.com/symptoms/34/constipation.html Or if your baby has colic: http://www.ColicInfant.com For those of you that are overweight, or have a lot of belly fat, you can do the massage sitting on the toilet, with your feet raised on a child's stepping stool (or two). Then bend forward and use your elbows to dig in and press against your colon. You can also use your fist - in a digging, circular movement. Place your other hand on top of your fist to help press it in. Fold forward over your fist - maybe even rocking back and forth - to use the force/motion of the bend to press your fist inwards. Another way you can do it (takes more effort but it may feel good enough to be worth it!) is to lie stomach-down on the floor. Place a small ball - about 4 inches in diameter - between your belly and the floor. Raise up on your elbows to take weight/pressure off the ball and lower yourself to increase it. Use the ball to massage your colon, sliding your body around to move the ball to follow the path of your colon.
